Install Loupa on the Chrome Web Store
Last updated: 2026-08-11
Loupa is a Chrome extension that adds badges (posting date, salary, workplace type, promoted/Easy Apply flags) and a sort/filter toolbar to job listings on LinkedIn.
Data collection
Loupa does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
- It reads the job-listing text that is already visible on the LinkedIn pages you open, only to display badges and to sort/filter those cards.
- All processing happens locally in your browser. Nothing is ever sent to any server, and the extension makes no network requests of its own.
- No analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no accounts.
- The extension requests no browser permissions beyond running its content script on LinkedIn job pages.
What it accesses
Loupa’s content script runs only on:
https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/*
On those pages it reads the visible listing content to render badges and reorder cards. It does not access your account, messages, browsing history, or any other site.
(The codebase also contains support for Indeed, but it is not enabled in the published extension and no Indeed permission is requested.)
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted in the extension’s repository.
